Untitled 1.psy

This is pretty interesting to read, I guess

This afternoon I was riding to office and suddenly remembered a poem read long ago. Unfortunately I don’t remember the poet but the summery of poem is still in mind.

First two paragraphs, poet narrates that last night he turned a butterfly in his dream. He flew over all beautiful flowers and enjoyed the fragrance. And in the last paragraph he says, I wonder, was it me, who dreamt of being a butterfly or am I a dream of butterfly?

Well, well, its bit confusing but let me elaborate it again. I try to write the question popped in poet’s mind in technical way.

  1. Was it the poet, turned a butterfly in his dream?
  2. Am I (poet) a dream of butterfly, which turned into a human in its dream?

It was so interesting, what if somewhere in the universe a butterfly is dreaming, as if it turned into a human being and enjoying all pleasures in Bangalore! May be, whole life span of a human is just a night for the butterfly and the moment the butterfly wakes up, its morning and a death for human!

I had similar thoughts while watching Will Smith’s ‘iROBOT’, even in movie, till last moment we cannot make out that the human was robot! Again the question is, are we developing robots and getting all works done or somewhere in universe, some robots are creating ‘humans’ and sending to earth!

We may have biological reasons to say that human are not robots, because we born when a male and female mates, we take 9 months to come out of womb, we were children then we grow up. But, what is so called womb is a kind of processor for the robots created us? What if human biological reasons are ‘technically programmed code’!

We might have programmed to assume that we are living in a universe, which is infinite. We all revolve around the burning sun; we wont fall off because of gravitation. My question is, who proved all these scientific facts? The answer is humans, what if we humans itself are robots! Is there any other so called living organism that can tell us about the solar system and our biology?

It’s as simple as a math teacher, who has misunderstood the sum of 2+2, and leading the whole class to believe the sum of 2+2. Lets assume he is the only math teacher on earth and we are following him. Is there any one creature apart from human to tell that, yes, we live in solar system?
